Christmas displays The main buildings at the gardens always feature interesting displays. December 2019 is no exception. Youngstown Historical Society is displaying photographs of Youngstown in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Well displayed and with interesting commentaries, an hour or so here is well spent. Then there is the annual display of Christmas trees, decorated by local charities, 56 in total, also well worth seeing. The permanent displays, e.g. honouring Volney Rogers are also well worth a look

If you love then outdoors; this is a must see If you love flowers, trees and the outdoors this is a must visit. During the Spring this place is full of tulips, daffodils and roses. There is a rose garden that you can get married in that overlooks the lake. There is also an onsite cafe that you can grab a nice refreshing lunch. A walk around the grounds will teach you about the flowers and trees that reside here. There are labels on the different plants and flowers so you know what they are. Fellows is just the start of your adventure in the Mill Creek park system; make sure that you visit the rest of the park.

We did have a couple of uncomfortable encounters. On one of the benches a couple was getting pretty hot and heavy for a public park bench in broad daylight with children around. And at the fountain a rather large man had his shirt off. It was a hot day, so...

Love this place All decked out for the holidays with trees and lights. Be sure to stop by the cafe and the gift shop. I'll be back in the spring and definitely the fall for the flowers and foliage.

A walk in the Park The Fellows Riverside gardens is the jewel of Mill Creek Park. It has something to offer any time of the year. The gardens are especially beautiful in the spring. The view overlooking Lake Glacier is exceptional in the fall. Well worth the time.

Wedding Nice gardens with great views. Went to wedding and reception on the grounds. Very nice. It is in a rather industrial part of town, so don’t plan any late night activity.
