I don't know where we'd be without Alessandra! We were referred to her after my 4m old daughter stopped taking bottles. So many people told us that she would start again when she was hungry enough, but Alessandra took the time to really listen to us and assess her holistically. She worked with us for a few months as we navigated our daughter's tension/posture issues, GI issues, nursing concerns, oral motor skills, high palette, and a tongue tie release. Alessandra supported us before, during, and after our son's tongue tie release and feeding difficulties, and I couldn't recommend her enough! She was kind, knowledgeable, and really helpful in setting us up for success. Thank you, Alessandra, for making this journey so much easier. Our little guy is now thriving!
We came in for a tongue tie/high palate and bottle refusal issues as our daughter was due to start daycare. Alessandra helped immensely with specific exercises and guidance as well as overall support, even helping us navigate the other specialists we had to see (pediatric dentist, chiropractor and an ENT). We went from zero bottle feeding skills to full time daycare bottle feeding and it wouldn’t have been possible without Alessandra!
I don’t think this review will do Alessandra’s work any justice. I’ve been to every PT/ OT/ Specialist with my son and was feeling hopeless. Alessandra came, assessed him, spoke to me and actually HEARD my worries. We set a plan and my son has never thrived more. He eats full meals happily, he self regulates, he crawls, he’s not frustrated by the things he couldn’t do or express before. She changed our lives.
I highly recommend Feeding Foundations OT. Alessandra is super knowledgeable as well as understanding as a fellow mom. I took her Parent and Me OT class and had so much fun. It was my favorite class/group I’ve been to with my baby!
