Always love Soldans/Feeders. My dog loves visiting. The staff loves animals and always give Tua lots of loving. Theyre very sweet and helpful- always offering to carry out heavy bags for me. Also, if youre a member (free to sign up) and are buying things like food or litter, every like.... 12th bag is free to you.
Stopped here to pick up some rat food. Google says they open at 9:00, I stopped at about 9:15 and the front doors were still locked with no one in site. Maybe you should update your store hours both on Google and the door if you open later than 9.
Terrible customer service. The Okemos location will almost never ask you if you need assistance and it’s a job just trying to find someone to check you out. Three times in a row isn’t an off day.
They usually have what I need. Unfortunately, they no longer carry Eukanuba products, so I will be going to PetSmart instead. It's just not the same place as when Howard Soldan (father and son) ran it.
=The Okemos MI Feeders Store rocks, and so do the workers. Everyone is helpful. I will use half-names for privacy, and I hope they recognize their part-name! Within the last hour on 1.29.2026, I needed some "hangable" chew items for our precious cavies but did not see them. After looking for a while, "Ev" found them spot-on, and our cavies went right to them!
