I work in the Queensland outback and sometimes my job takes me away for 10 days or more and had a generator to pickup within 5 working days so not always possible to meet deadline of pickup. Last time this happened I rang the depot and they understood and kept generator without extra charges. This time couldn't talk to anyone at depot only a call centre who had know idea of logistics of this country. All I wanted was to talk to someone at the Cairns depot like last time! My parcel arrived from Italy on March 4 and has been sitting at the Fed-Ex Woree, Cairns depot for 6 days (longer than it took to fly my parcel from Italy to Cairns Qld. Australia). I phoned (the Fed-Ex Indian call-centre) today March 6 and was told by their 'agent' they don't deliver to PO Boxes even though all their on-line literature says they do - they have an agreement with AusPost which I've confirmed. fedex cairns, driver is an absolute, cant say it here, he walked up to my office door where he is supposed to deliver my parcel, then turns around and scans it as incorrect address then leaves, 2 days ago, still haven't got it even after contacting fedex directly as soon as he drove off from not coming in. im absolutely furious. i didnt see him walking up or away, just driving away else i would have stopped him and told him exactly what i thought. im still fuming 2 days on. they said it would be delivered the next day, still... read more
