What you pay for is what you get and FedEx is cheaper than other shipping companies for a reason. There are some good people who try their best to make positive customer experiences but there are far more people who genuinely do not care and just show up for their paycheck. The issues customers see are issues that go all the way up the management chain so it is not justified to blame the handful of people who are customer facing. I recommend you fill your shipping needs elsewhere.
If I could give this place a -100, I would. The complete lack of care for people’s belongings at the Chandler FedEx facility is unbelievable. We shipped a family heirloom, a painting that has been in our family for years from ND to AZ. It made it all the way to Chandler before being reported as “damaged,” and they refused to deliver it. Best to go with UPS they are more reliable. Fedex contractor drivers are getting worse. I've been waiting for a package 3 days after promised delivery. First day of waiting for my delivery to my UPS store, the driver comments stated that the package was not delivered due to receivers instructions =lie. I never gave any instructions.
