Today I learned that after 30 years Feathered Friends was closing. I was crushed. Darlene and Kurt had let me help out in the fall for a while, and I had an amazing time. They had an amazing store that will be missed, as it was a wonderful place. The only thing I can say is I regret not going there more. I wish them the best of luck!
Love this place. We got our Green Cheek Conure here 5 years ago and have been coming ever since. Darlene is wonderful with the birds and very knowledgable. They also bird-sit when we are on vacation.
Extremely knowledgeable related to all things bird. Wild, pets and exotic. We buy our seed there for our bird feeder and also buy supplies for our dove.
My family and I visited the store for the first time this weekend. The store caters both to pet birds and wild birds with a wide variety of merchandise. The store is clean and the birds look happy and healthy. The owners Darlene and Kurt are very friendly and knowledgeable. We had a great experience there and look forward to stopping in again soon. If you like birds, I highly recommend visiting Feathered Friends.
