I came to this bank with five $20 bills and asked if I could exchange them for two $50 bills. The teller asked if I had an account, and because I didn’t, they refused to do the exchange. I find that completely absurd. After this experience, this would be the last place I would choose to do my banking. I went to Citizens Bank directly next door and had no problem at all.

Unfortunately it’s time to move on. HVB was great. FCCB not so much. It’s frustrating to ask for a call back from a manager twice, for that to not happen. Finally when I do speak to the manager a few weeks later due to a recurring issue, he makes it very clear with his tone I am wasting his time. Their interest rates are abysmal compared to other banks. I moved my savings accounts from them and will soon be moving my checking. They will charge fees on your accounts, HVB never did that. This bank has lost its luster since fccb took over. Hvb was the best but now, I'm thinking it's time to move on
