Fay Servicing is NOT a customer-friendly organization. Most of the representatives are rude and obnoxious. I will never do business with this company again.

We have been trying to change our mortgage, which was turned over to Fay Servicing, into my husband's name for several years. It was in the name of his late wife who passed away in 2002. Ultimately, we wanted to refinance at a much lower rate than the exorbitant rates mortgages had back in 2000 which is when his late wife took out the mortgage. The estate (of which he was the executor) was dissolved only a few years after her passing. He has paid the $2,000 a month mortgage since 2002 from his personal bank account. We email... read more

Darn, this site forces me to give them one star. I wouldn't if I didn't have to. Zero stars is far more appropriate and matches the Zero Performance by Fay and the Zero support from Fay. I have 2 loans that were purchased by Fay. I have paid every payment on time or ahead of due date. I have never missed or been late with a payment. When reaching out to Fay to try to resolve two different issues, I get zero response. I have sent eMails, left voice mails, etc. Zilch, nil, nada from Fay. Our refi mortgage was transferred to Fay Servicing in February 2020. Since that time, we have been assigned three different 'account managers' to serve as our direct liaison for our mortgage and escrow. Unfortunately, our third account manager failed to respond to numerous communications over a two week period of time, where we ended up losing our home owners insurance due to a lack of payment from our escrow. There was a miscommunication of a payment in May when they received a partial payoff of over 350k. I have made over 12k in payments since trying to resolve the problem and just like every other complaint they continue to ignore or help. Chris ****** my account rep will ignore my questions but continue to send me bills. I have sent request on June 20, June 30, July 18 and today and Chris won't call but they have others call for payments when I in fact have paid. Fay Servicing demonstrates inaccurate and unethical practices related to management of my individual mortgage, and poor customer service in the process of attempting to correct their errors. During the process of gathering information to resolve their errors they told me to "keep this between us" as a mechanism of hiding their wrong-doing. This a a huge red flag of their wrong -doing! Massachusetts Acts of 2020 chapter 65, section 5b, Covid-19 deferment. Battled with fay servicing for a mortgage payment deferment from April 2020- July 2020. They repeatedly told me because my mortgage was not a federally backed loan and not covered under CARES act they would not offer a deferment to me. Faye Servicing has the worst customer service I have ever experienced with any business. I have called my account manager, Toni at least 10 times. I have yet to receive a call back. Every time I call a customer service representative, they tell me that Toni is busy. She completely ignores my calls. My loan has an escrow account. Faye servicing collected the escrow but never paid the insurance premiums. I ended up paying the insurance company myself so that I would have insurance on the property. If I could do less than I would. This lack of a company has literally gone up on our mortgage $1400 bucks because they claim our taxes went up that much. When I got a current copy from our local city which is 7k less the amount. So essentially they have miscalculated our taxes by a whole 7k and still no one is calling us back. They are the worst of the worst...... How do we get a class action going please....
