I was hired as SBIRT PSS two months ago. I proceeded with the new hire trainings, attended staff and FAVOR Group meetings. Client engagement is amazing at the FAVOR UPSTATE location. The FAVOR Upstate staff is very attentive and supportive. There's great people working at the center!! However, the supervisor on the SBIRT team made my experiences very difficult and demeaning. Reached out to an advisor for help..I was told they would call me back.. that was almost a week ago. Addiction for an individual is life and death…Addiction for the family is also life and death..to reach out and receive no help after being told to call whenever we needed help… I don’t get it… absolutely hurtful and sad.
