We took in 3 very inexpensive cruisers that we attempted to assemble ourselves! The guys were so friendly & welcoming & got our bikes repaired at a super reasonable price. This was in comparison to High Desert West bike shop where the dude was rude & basically shooed us out of their shop because we were not presenting with high end bikes! I can say that Fat Tire Cycles is accommodating to ALL people looking to repair, buy or tune up bicycles from basic to performance/ electric…you name it. And they will treat you right.
Shout out to Mike for introducing my hubby & I to E-bikes. Mike, even though visually impaired, answered all of our questions & made me fall in love with the Eufree Solar Sparrow. Thanks to another savior in this shop for fixing my new bike with a new seat stem to fit my short stature. (Sorry I didn't ask your name). First ride today opened my world again(I'm 75)! Thank you very much!
Fat Tire Cycles on the west side near Corrales is awesome. Not only are they great with bikes, but they even helped me fix a chain on a security gate once. Super helpful and friendly folks!
I love the lifetime tune-up option that comes with the purchase of their bikes and I especially appreciate that skilled technicians build the bikes compared with a lot of other stores in which the assembly might be questionable. The employees were amazing to work with and my family and I were all pleasantly surprised with how fast they assembled my son's bike. He loves his new bike!
Thank you so much Fat Tire for the excellent service for the rest of my east to west cross-country ride. I think my flat tire woes are over, knock on wood. This is definitely the place to go for highly thorough service, especially if you are bikepacking/touring!
