Her first experience went well, she was getting her taxes back and all was well. She received a call from the owner to inform her that the taxes were done incorrectly and she was getting a reduced amount; she accepted this information and went to get her W2s and other documents. Completely LIED TO ME about my refund and now I have to get my taxes amended because they didn't know how to plug in my education credits correctly. I will not be using this service ever again and I urge anyone else who thinks about going here to reconsider. It's been nothing but a nightmare with these people.
Fast Tax is a dishonorable business set up to prey upon the poorest classes in our society. They offer tax preparation and electronic filing to all who wish to take advantage of their 'services'. Most of their clients qualify for 'Earned Income Credit' and usually have substantial refunds due them. Fast Tax charges an outlandish fee in conjunction with Chase Bank which the clients usually accept because they have so much due them.
