Yikes... made me prove my speakers worked (which I did thanks to a generous guy in the parking lot). Understandable. While we were testing them in the pouring rain, two men said they wanted to make a deal with me if the store didn’t haha. Went back in and was told that they would do $40 for them. These are Kicker Comp RT competition series speakers in their own box that retail for minimum $225 together. One must understand that a pawn shop is simply "loaning" money for an item as collateral with expectation that the customer will return to get said item by paying the loan back Also, anything that comes to a pawn shop is considered used. Whether it is unopened in a box or not. If the person does not come back for the pawn, the shop then has to price it and wait for it to sell in order to get the money back that was "LOANED". Awesome group of people,they really know their stuff.
The Owner is nice, the prices are good. The owner is very knowledgeable and a great conversationalist. However, I treated very rudely by an employee. While having a private conversation I said "shit" an old woman shouted, from behind the counter, interrupted my conversation and verbally scolded me. This with room full of customers. Fast pawn customer service is really good. The owner is great. I would recommend this pawn shop more than the other ones in Shelbyville.
