Total scammers. They collected our clothing, told us how much we were going to receive and then never sent a check. I left messages for every name in their voicemail system and no one ever called back. Next call is to the NJ Attorney General.
We had a confirmed clothing drive pickup in Norwalk CT for April 30th and Fashion Republic was a no-show. They are not answering numerous phone calls or emails. Donated clothing had to be reallocated to another charity last minute.
I'm shocked to read all the reviews. We've been using Fashion Republic for a Boy Scout fundraiser for about 4 or 5 years now. We just had one in March 2017. We had no trouble with the appt. They did come about an hour late to pick up the clothes, but they were picked up and we rec'd the check about 4 wks later. I hope they haven't gone downhill.
As far as I can tell, they take your stuff and never send you your money. It's been 6 months and "Tom" doesn't respond to email. Last time I heard from him/them, was a month after our clothing drive. He said it would be 2 months until they could cut our check. So here we are 6 months later, and feeling conned and scammed. That's what I believe this operation is until we get the money they promised our organization as a fundraiser.
They take your clothes and never send you your money. We were raising funds for the School (children). They will REAP What They SOW!
