First calls and meetings to bring paperwork were well received until Nancy phoned to tell me what I owed. I questioned it as it was a very standard tax return. They had my income incorrect due to paperwork I had already explained to them and had post it notes on them to which they didn’t pay attention to. I went to Farmgate/Mainstreet tax because they had been highly recommended to me by someone I trust. But from the moment I stepped into the office, Nancy was giving me condescending tones and responses. Despite calling several times explaining the the portal was not received to both Nancy and Rick, they both made their excuses for what it hadn’t been done, only for Nancy to then blame me for not calling to ask about it and gaslighting me as if it were my fault.
