I've been working with Farmer's with my personal and business accounts over forty-five years. Very happy with their service.
They do a great job here! It's a super cute old school bank, pretty much a landmark in downtown Winthrop. It kinda makes me feel like a cowboy every time I step in the building . We do our banking for Silverline Lakeside Resort here and I always love popping in to the bank cause the tellers are always very sweet and happy to chat. They are an asset to the Methow Valley small business community!
You really know when you have enlisted The BEST Bank, when you have a problem. Anyone can put in money and take it back out, but when things get difficult or some other entity has made a mistake, and your Bank is right there by your side to fix any issue, or find a solution, that is the key to the right choice for where you want to put your financial trust. I have used Farmers State Bank for almost 25 years now. Beau and Ed, chief banker/owners, and their small group of employees, Kristin and others, have always been extraordinarily helpful. One time, when our debit card number was stolen from a gas station in Mexico, they stopped payment right after checking with us about the origin of the transaction, saving us much grief and high monetary loss. Friendly staff. Courteous. Quaint surrounding. Felt like I'd gone back a hundred years, and this was the type of bank that Jesse James used to hold up. Sorry. Odd hours, close by 3:00 pm.
