Do not open a account with this bank I was with them for many years had two or three fraudulent charges on my account which they did take care of my son had a fraudulent charge 4 charges matter of fact, adding up to A around $750 they did did a little investigation which is pretty much nothing now since they have a new manager there for the last few years that will lie on the paperwork So my son got ripped off for $750 from this bank caution, caution caution, do not open up with this bank go to a well-known named bank!!!!
My husband and I have been with Farmers and Merchants Bank of SC for over 40 years...and having stated this, I do not have the first complaint with this bank and feel very blessed that we choose them as 'Our' bank over the years. Everyone their is truly personable, nice and professional. If in the past I have had a question, of any sort, they have provided help and answers and made me feel like they are there for their customers, willing to do what ever it takes to resolve an issue.
