I wouldn't let my dog have an account at this bank. They treated me horribly, after my husband died, they stole my home from me. They wouldn't let me pay it off after my husband passed away, but they chose to freeze my bank accounts with no court order no rhyme, no reason the day before it was supposed to go to auction that makes you think. Hmm, who would be responsible for that home? If it doesn't bring what it's supposed to an auction, some one that would be on the deed.. Excellent bank. Everyone is very helpful. I've banked here for 20 years and never had one issue.
The first bank ive went too that charges no fees to cash their own checks for non account holders. bb&t charges. I currently hold account at bb&t, they charge my employees to cash payroll check i write them, checks are from my business account with bb&t. This Monday I will open account with F&M and close my account at bb&t.
