The dispatcher told me I could unload as soon as I arrived, so I got here at 7:00 AM. Unfortunately, the guard insisted that I needed an appointment and made me wait until 3:00 PM before they would even start unloading. To make matters worse, I only had 12 pallets, and unloading took less than an hour. Because of the unnecessary 8-hour delay, I was forced to cancel my return load and lost valuable work time. Very disappointing experience. Better communication and respect for drivers’ time would go a long way.
This is an executive office building. Everyone here was very professional and friendly.
