Whether I'm entering the bank, approaching a teller window, or making a trip through the "drive thru" on a Saturday I am valued. I was working a temporary assignment in Woodville, Texas. I needed quarters to use in the apartment washer/dryer machines, so I stopped into the Woodville branch of the Citizens State Bank. They would not give me change of a $10 bill because I did not have an account there ! IT WAS A US GOVERNMENT ISSUED AND BACKED TEN DOLLAR BILL 111 (Well, now I understand why they would not give me change !) So I went down the street and another bank cheerfully gave me change. This is one of the poorest run institutions we have ever dealt with. We make loan payments above the scheduled amount. Several times these were miss posted. They changed our checking account to a different level of service without letting us know and suddenly were receiving monthly fees. The lobby is loud and staff aren’t always very professional. We feel this is more of a coffee cafe than a professional banking institution. We paid off a mortgage loan July 20 th. Today is September 20th and still no paid off paperwork. Th... read more
Citizens bank is the most incredible, friendly and cheerfull. Never at a bank could I get better service. The staff is always happy and upbeat.
