My Family has been banking at Farmers , personal and business since I was a kid, and I'm soon to be 64. I live in Ohio now and still have family in Nicholasville and still consider it home. I keep my accounts open with Farmers so that when I come home needing a bank I can depend on,it's Farmers. I have the same thoughts as the lady before me,feel perfectly safe when I come in to bank. Farmers has been my bank for over 15 years. After reading the last review (and as soon as I could quit laughing), I wanted to write and say they are just wonderful. I've had the opportunity to live in many cities over the years---and deal with "city" banks. There is nothing more pleasurable than walking into a smaller bank where people greet you by name, ask about your Grandkids, and business. They are most professional without compromising their friendly and personable service.

I went to the Farmers Bank today, in order to change the corporate address on our money market account. Much to my disappointment I discovered that the bank now prohibits law abiding citizens from carrying a concealed gun in the bank. Rather than change the address on the account, I closed it. I encourage other gun owners and 2nd amendment supporters to do the same. On another note, who do they actually expect will obey the sign? I did, because I am a law abiding citizen.
