Very nice grocery store in Shockoe Bottom….
What a strange store. 90% of the items ring up with a different price, of course not in the customer's benefit. Need to pay close attention to not be ripped off! The cash register girl was very nice though and corrected every item.
Stopped by recently hoping to find some decent beer, and boy, was I pleasantly surprised! There's a full-on walk-in beer fridge, something that I was not at all expecting from a market this size! And within it, a fully respectable beer selection! I'm in the area frequently, and will definitely be back! I'm thrilled to find such a gem. Checkout was easy, no long lines, store seemed clean (though I was admittedly on a mission). Keep it up guys, you have a great place!
Love this store. Small town feel to it. Friendly staff.
