I have done business with FCS for years as a farmer and have found them to get better and better through the years. I think they tend to avoid troubled farmers but if you are in a normal financial need position, they are great to do business with. The rates are the best I have found, plus you'll get some money back if the business is successful for the year. I don't really understand the bitter negative ratings some give.

I find it ideal you have to have good credit to do business with them, but their own employees dont pay their bills.

Don Polk at the Oskaloosa Ia office is the most worthless bank officer I ever talk to. Rude and acts like he is a real authority. He knows nothing about people or the farm. I will never do business there again. Disrespectful individual should not work with the public.
