BEWARE BUYERS: FALSE ADVERTISING Added 2 items to my cart, and upon checkout, prices increased on the items. Contacted their online team and they said “prices are subject to change without prior notice”. Meaning the price you see when you add the item to your cart will INCREASE at checkout. WHAT A JOKE. Waste of time. Shows they will go to any ridiculous lengths to make an extra buck, even if it means going to unethical lengths. That’s how you know their pathetic business is struggling. Check out the proof. BOYCOTTED.
It’s places like this that are making online retailers boom… NO stock of a very basic lounge piece, ALL “made to order” unless you want this weird 1950’s green moss colour and even then it takes TWO WEEKS to get it from their distribution centre… TWO WEEKS from Melbourne to Melbourne - What a joke!! Anyway, luckily, places like Homary and B2C have great stock holdings. Unfortunate that places like Fantastic Furniture just won’t make it in the future.
I purchased the Dalkeith Walnut Coffee Table along with several other items from the same range. After just about two years of very normal household use, the veneer on the bottom of the coffee table developed noticeable chips. This was the first time I ever tried to use Fantastic Furniture’s warranty service, and unfortunately it was quite disappointing. I ordered some book cases online, received a voice mail the next day to be told the items were ready for pickup, but no email notification. When I went in to pick up, the items were not ready, but I was super impressed that the bloke at the warehouse pickup point( sorry forgot name), acknowledged the stuff up and took up my suggestion for the items to be delivered to my house at no charge to me.
