We recently made a purchase from the Marion store and wanted to share our experience. Much like previous reviews on here our experience with Donna and Daryl has been absolutely disgraceful. The entire process from beginning to end was excruciating with problem after problem, lack of communication and multiple broken promises regarding phone calls and/or emails. Both staff members were rude, condescending and impossible to deal with. No accountability or empathy for the problems that occurred and instead trying to blame us for their own mistakes. Walked in and purchased 9 barstools on the basis that they had 6 available for immediate pickup, and the other 3 would be available within a fortnight. Minutes after paying for all 9 upfront, I went to the pickup area and I was informed that only 3 barstools were immediately available, the other 6 needed to be brought in. It's 2026; stock levels and availability are systematic (or at least should be), so I'm not sure if I was lied to by the sales person.
As a returning customer, I am disappointed with the recent decline in service. I was given incorrect information regarding color options, and a promised delivery from another store never materialized. Instead, I received an automated pickup notice, only to find out no new stock was available. Being offered a floor model at almost the full price—after having to call and investigate the status myself—is unacceptable. I expect much better communication and proactive problem-solving from a business I have supported for years.
