I initially thought this Hokkaido cream bun would be a creative little dessert like a cream puff, but I was wrong. It's an icy bread topped with cream. While regular icy bread has a filling of flavored cream piped into the bread, this one has cream on top. There's a tiny bit of cream inside the bread, just a small amount. The cream on top is quite thick, and it's also sprinkled with a generous amount of milk powder frosting, giving it a "dirty" bun white version. It's a bit too sweet for me.
