"Tried to pay with cash and was sent to a counter that only takes card or QR. When I asked about it, the staff member was rude about it. Cash should be accepted, or at least the staff should explain the policy politely. Hopefully this gets addressed."

I visited this FamilyMart during lunchtime today, and unfortunately, this was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had. I was standing there waiting to hand over the cards for the tom yum and instant noodles when the staff asked me, “Apa you nak?” in a rather rude and unfriendly tone. I understand that it was lunchtime and the staff may have been busy, but customers should still be spoken to respectfully. Unpleasant experience ordering my food here. While I was at the counter, the assumed Malay cashier infront of me spoke to a fellow Indian coworker in a rude and unnecessarily loud tone, saying, “Oi macha, you bersihkan semua ni……” Regardless of the context, the way it was said came across as disrespectful and inappropriate, and especially unprofessional in front of customers. I ordered the Sukiyaki Udon Bowl on shopee, but I only received the udon. The fish balls and fish cake were missing. Quite disappointed because I paid for the full bowl but didn’t get all the ingredients.
