I am so very grateful to the Sunsinw center and it's staff. They went above and beyond to get me to a safe place. So grateful. My case worke shemika is wonderful and my counselor Essence was great. Thanks you to everyone at the center.
I stayed here in 2019 with my 2 toddlers. It was bitter sweet. Some staff really care about the women and families there. Others treated us like we had to be contained. My case worker was alright but her demeanor could be cold. The director could care less about helping anyone. She was a rude lady who didn't like kids and accused my 4 year old son of plugging the toilets when we weren't even there. Some really don't understand abuse and expect everyone to meet all these milestones when emotionally we felt like we were hit by... read more
