Rachel is emotionless and has no empathy or compassion for the people who call looking for help. Please get someone else for your intake process. She was extremely rude and immediately said no to shelter services for a battered woman with three kids. Your donors and sponsors would be extremely disappointed and your community counts on you to be there in times of need.
One of the worst shelters I've ever experienced, please go elsewhere because you will be unhappy here. And if you're already planning to go to a shelter, you do not need the issues that come with this one. I hope you find somewhere safe to stay, however this is NOT a safe place. There's racism, ants, and favoritism. I was about to call them with a large donation then saw thier reviews, disgusting. People will need answers for the reviews that are left on your listing, I will be calling else where. Don’t get me wrong if you need to go here don’t let my review stop you. But people need to think twice before offering any help to this place, from lying on phones to kicking out pregnant women these seem to be common occurrences. Wow, just wow.
