I first saw Dr. Captain on the Suncoast View show where she explained how Acupuncture can help with many issues other than just pain. What I appreciate and respect most about Dr. Christina Captain is her ability to hear beyond the complaint. What I mean by this is, I've come to her with plantar fascitis and tendonitis in my elbow, as well as a litany of additional, what seemed minor in comparison, complaints. Dr. Captain light-heartedly addressed the main complaints. Christina did an excellent job in helping me with my high blood pressure. It is back to normal. I highly recommend and appreciate her as well as her professional staff.
After feeling increasingly worse for about 2 weeks, on 8/1/2024 I was admitted to the hospital in critical condition with what turned out to be a tick borne blood parasite infection called babaseotis. After intensive medical treatment to fight off the parasite I was left with paralysis and numbness in my left ankle and foot with close to zero function.
