I saw Dr Deena Charney, someone who manages their google page will post on negative reviews that they saw other practice, but THAT IS LIE(hence I have attached my bill)! This place is not transparent on charges and YOU'LL have to pay 5X cost of something sold at Amazon/CVS even after insurance coverage. The office says all of their patients face these issues, but they never make their patients aware, because they are getting paid $423.92 for something that just costs $20. Very disappointed with my experience here. I saw Dr Deena Charney, PLEASE STOP GASLIGHTING AND SAYING THAT I SAW OTHER CLINIC. I HAVE ADDED RECEIPT SCREENSHOT. HAVE to PAY 5X for a night splint which is available for $20 at CVS or Amazon. The office recommended a night splint, saying insurance would fully cover it, but didn’t mention that it would cost SIGNIFICANTLY HIGHER with them. Saw a couple of doctors for both me and my family and wasn’t really impressed (I have seen podiatrists at other places I’ve lived). They will not check with your insurance for expensive services beforehand, and will ask you to pre-pay, so you may want to check yourself. Never called me about my devices for 1.5 months until I reached them (I often couldn’t reach them on the phone either). Online portal is cryptic to set up and hard to retrieve credentials.
My husband ‘s physician referred him to the Foot And Ankle center office upstairs, same building, same day to set an appointment for his toenail fungus. Dr. Richard Mendelsohn, Podiatrist in McLean Va, was very anxious to take my husband and said will take you today! Wait. After 1 1/2 hours in his office, he shocked us by saying He does not cut nails, « I AM A DOCTOR»! I asked who does it? He said the Beauty Salon!
