Lady at this location was extremely rude. I handed her the check which was from the state of Connecticut department of social services and she said she had no way to verify the check. She could have contacted the bank issuer or social services to verify but I wanted to ask if it qualifies as a government check or not but she cut me off and handed me the check like I wasn’t allowed to ask a question. Waste of time when it was almost 5pm and other places are closing.
I am giving this place 1 star because when I arrived, 1 there was no one to great me. When the teller finally rushed in I start to sign the check and she tells me I cant take it because my I'd was not from the state. My payment was made late by accident and now I dont have money on hand for basic needs like gloves and mask. It's unfair that I just recently moved and havent had the chance to update my i.d since covid 19 and now all this negligence is causing my family to have to suffer.
