I was referred here after emergency treatment and it took them over 2 months for me to see a specialist/psychiatrist to be prescribed medication. Medication I need for my daily function. On top of that, it took them a long time to give me a therapist, constantly wait for treatment. I started seeing the therapist (brown-skinned woman with glasses & dreads). I missed my appointment and told me I was out of the program. Her last words to me were “Everyone goes through things”. Mind you all I said was I been going through a lot.... read more

After months on a waiting list for children’s mental health services, my child was finally assigned to Rigoberto Sanabria, LCSW. Given the length of the wait and the seriousness of my child’s symptoms, I initially felt hopeful that we were finally receiving appropriate support.
