We have ten kids. Over the years I purchased six bikes for the kids and two for mom and dad. Why only six bikes for ten kids? The quality of bikes, and their expert maintenance have allowed us to pass down bikes as each kid grew. The bike in this review pic was used by ALL TEN kids, with our youngest just stepping up to it this week….this is over almost twenty years of use! Fantastic service and very good communication with the customer. They actually pick up their phone, and they are friendly and knowledgeable about bikes. They accepted a hydraulic brake job I needed done on my cargo trike (not your standard bike), and my wife and kids appreciate the extra safety. Other bike shops wouldn't touch our cargo trike, but Jonathan at Family Bike Shop was great and had the job done in a day!
They did a great job on fixing my bike, price after the initial estimate did increase but it was for parts that needed to be replaced. Only thing I wish was different was not fixing what I originally stated not to i.e the cycling computer. 'Was only for about 5 dollars but still. Overall, my bike is better than before.
I went in for a service question, expecting to pay for labor, but instead they educated me on what I needed to do in order to resolve the problem. I will be definitely utilizing them in the future for all my upcoming bike purchases.
