This is the 2nd time the shop has given me a bill for information. The technician didn't do any full service on my bike but charged me for it. My friend was very upset and said they shouldn't charge for information. He went in the next day and asked them a similar question to mine and they didn't charge him. The technician was different, but store policy should be the same no matter who is there. Now I feel like the tech sized me up and cheated me on purpose for what he thought he could get out of me. Willingness to help without hesitation even though not a previous customer. Not only fixed rear tire but took time to demonstrate how to fix myself if it happened again. And a pleasant 4-legged greeter for added measure. Highly recommend.
I had an outstanding experience at the Family Bike Shop. The staff was knowledgeable, honest, friendly, and genuinely passionate about bikes. They took the time to fix my bicycle and didn’t try to upsell me on things I didn’t need. The service department was fast and I didn’t have to wait days for it, as it was fixed while I waited. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced cyclist, this shop is a great resource, I’ll definitely be coming back.
Family friendly environment
Awesome family owned store! They're very knowledgeable, friendly and have helped me with bikes for all ages over the last 20+ years. I had my toddler fitted for a helmet recently which made me feel much more confident I had the right protection for him. Something I wasn't getting from Walmart, that's for sure!
