My child attends Falls Church Montessori, she has been there a year for her first year of daycare, and she loves it. The teachers here are incredibly caring and engaging with the students. By the end of her first year here, she was putting away her toys, using manners, eating by herself. Shoutout to Miss Cindy, Ms. Lydia, Ms. Cynthia and Miss Abby! I had two children attend this school and decided to go elsewhere. Ownership changed multiple times and is now under Cadence Education. I have found that the new leadership care more about getting your money than they do about the children’s needs. The school constantly closes and has teacher shortages with a revolving door of new teachers. They established new policies that emotionally distances the teachers and children to the point I had to give approval for them to hug my child if they were distraught. Our oldest has been at FCM since she was 3. Her growth has been remarkable, she's learned to write, read, do addition and substraction, and so many life skills...we can trust her when she says she knows how to do something. Our youngest just started in the toddler class, and the transition has been wonderful. The teachers are solid, and Ms Chevonne has been wonderful in the front office.
I enjoy working at FCM. I've been here almost 3 years. Majority of the staff has been with FCM for over 10 years! FCM parents are awesome! The parents are welcoming & very supportive. I love being a part of this small boutique school.
We were privileged to have The Fall Church Montisorri as our son education place. The entire team have been reliable, fun, loving, professional, and hard working since our child was admitted in when he was 18 months old. We always felt the teachers demonstrated great understanding of the needs and abilities of children and are warm, nurturing, and responsive to our son.
