Disappointed Review I had high hopes for this train ride, but it ultimately fell flat, especially for anyone over the age of 5. Parking was a nightmare from the start. There were no clear signs for overflow parking, making it a hassle to find a spot. The train ride was a big disappointment, all tree branches with some long branches scrapping the train, went to a buffet at Common Man Restaurant in Plymouth NH very disappointing, not much to choose from and what they had was tasteless. When asked for more rolls, was told only 10 per table . There was a little boy who was sitting at our table. Didn't like the food only the bread. Who doesn’t love a good train ride, scenery had a lot to be desired. We traveled through a lot of wooded/residential areas that had little to no color. The hot luncheon buffet was excellent.
Great train ride. Loved the smell of the diesel, but wish it was coal!
