Fairway Independent is a great lender to use when buying your first home! They have a very down to earth way of communicating with the their customers and don’t think of you as just a number! Would strongly recommend Fairway Independent if you’re a first time home buyer or even just have questions!
Samantha (and her assistant Vicky) at Fairway was such a gem to work alongside. She was always available, enthused to help us, and even matched rates with what another lender was purposing. I never felt like I had a “dumb question” because her approach felt so educational and thorough. She walked us through each step and made us feel confident during the home buying process. I would recommend her to anyone, especially first time home buyers who need someone to help them feel confident in the process.
Sheila and team did a great job throughout the mortgage process. This particular case (relative of mine) was unusual due to many factors and Shelia always was quick to research a solution and directly communicate with 3rd parties (inspection, structural improvements, regulatory, legal etc.) to move the process along. Most importantly we knew she was working in our best interest and always 100% transparent. Responded quickly with advice and pros/cons of our options.
