I appreciate that my $100 refund has now been received. However, I want to clarify that this resolution occurred only after I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Prior to filing the complaint, I made repeated attempts to resolve this matter directly with Fairmax Law over the course of more than a month. Disappointing Refund Process and Lack of Communication My experience with Fairmax Law has been disappointing, particularly regarding communication and the handling of my refund. I paid a $100 deposit in connection with a Chapter 7 bankruptcy filing. After being informed that I did not qualify for Chapter 7, I requested a refund. The worst Bankruptcy firm! You have to wait on hold at least an hour before someone answers, they will not call you back, and they don’t submit the correct documents to the court so the judge dismisses your bankruptcy. The only time you hear from them is when your scheduled payment is declined! I lost $200 before I stopped them from taking more money out of my account. When you confront them about these issues, they lie and come up with many excuses! Go with a REAL bankruptcy attorney!
