More frequent patrols on 16th Rd toward the park area. This new stretch of road is used often as a drag strip. I am really amazed no one has been killed in this area. Not to mention the amount of vehicles who use this route because they have no exhaust system on their vehicle. I see a patrol maybe 2 times a day, but they advertise putting the giant "Sheriff " billboard on the side of the SUV, sitting at the entrance of the park. Did a ride along with a deputy. Never knew how much work those men and women have to do to protect our community.
Thank you to deputy Mike Ash who assisted me when I was in an accident with a deer last week. He was was very professional and went above and beyond in helping me get back on the road to work. Again, thank you!
