We started looking for speech therapy for our son almost a year ago, at age 2. He was borderline enough that we spent about 9 months on waitlists elsewhere without success, while communication difficulties began causing behavior issues at school. Fairfax Pediatric Therapy was the first practice to take him. Nadia (OT) & Jen and Maeve (speech) have worked with him consistently. Almost immediately he improved. This has been a great clinic and experience for us! Kudos to Ms. Alivia — she worked hard and non-stop to help my child through BIG feelings and always had ideas / tools to provide us with, even when others didn’t work (or stopped working). Whenever she wasn’t sure about a particular behavior, she researched and then helped us understand her findings, always providing us with the best care. We’ve had a wonderful experience with Fairfax Pediatric Therapy Center! Emily is an amazing music therapist kind, patient, and truly dedicated to her work. My son enjoys every session, and we’ve already seen great progress. She creates such a positive and supportive environment, and we’re so grateful for the care she provides. We brought our 4yo daughter here under a recommendation that she get evaluated for speech and audio concerns. We appreciate how honest the therapist was about how she didn't see any underlying concerns with her in this area and was not pushy about continuing therapy sessions. My daughter has been working with Nadia over the past few months, and the results have been incredible. The sessions are engaging and fun, and the facilities are perfectly adapted for children’s needs, with slides, ropes, fidgets, and gym mats that support therapy while making it enjoyable. Highly recommended!
