Long overdue review! I had a wonderful experience with Fairfax Home Birth. Much as I ended up needing to transfer to the hospital, I received great care from Story and her team throughout my pregnancy. I had a couple of preferences for my care that Story was able to accommodate and I greatly appreciated that. She also clearly communicated when certain preferences could not be accommodated and what my options were. I can't recommend Story and Fairfax Home Birth enough. I had the water birth of my dreams at home. I'm forever grateful for that truly wonderful experience. Story is calm, encouraging, and knowledgeable. She knew just the right things to say during my labor and created such a peaceful environment. I’ve had two successful home births with Fairfax Home Birth and I truly cannot say enough good things about them. This team is THE BEST. What made the biggest difference to this me was the level of individualized care, something so much of our medical system lacks.
