I think I’ve called at least 6 times and can’t ever reach someone just to get information about paying my bill. The automated selection sucks. And it’s like… I have no clue how to get this bill paid without talking to someone
Why does it take Fairfax County 8-10 weeks to process and another 6-8 weeks to refund real estate property taxes for exempted disabled veterans. Process improvement is lacking.
I visited the Tax Payment office a few weeks ago to renew my business license. I’ve been meaning to write this review and finally found a quiet moment to do so. A young woman at the cashier counter offered to assist me and mentioned she was still in training. She was polite, respectful, and genuinely eager to help. Unfortunately, what stood out was the behavior of the older woman behind her; she abruptly grabbed the papers, slammed them down, and raised her voice in front of both of us. Haven’t seen my check paying to Fairfax county property tax deduct from my account after few weeks and not so sure it may get lost in the mail. Made a call on July 9th and spoke to Ms Katrina to inquire about the check and sure enough it wasn’t received or posted . She asked for my phone number and would call me back if she can confirm the check has been cashed. She did called and let me know the check has been cashed a day later .With a lot of negative reviews in the past about this office…. Ms Katrina really a good example... read more
