Have shopped at The Eye of the Needle for years and everything there is wonderful and very friendly. The two people who were negative about the shop MUST be negative people !!!!

I learned to knit with the book, "Knitting for Dummies" and had only been buying cheap yarn at craft stores. Since I thought I was ready to take knitting serious, I made at trip to Eye of the Needle. while visitng friends in the area. I was a bit skeptical because I'm not too serious, but the staff got me excited to try more complicated projects. I was in Sarasota visiting a good friend and she took me to "The Eye of the Needle" after telling her that I would like to try my hand at knitting. The people were SO nice and SO helpful. Being that I am a beginner I was impressed by their knowledge and willingness to help me get started. I will most definitely visit this store again the next time I am in town!

I'm new to knitting and the ladies at Eye of the Needle were so incredibly helpful and patient. They helped me pick out yarn (so many beautiful ones to choose from!) appropriate for my project and took the time to answer all my questions. They even sat down with me to make sure that I was comfortable with my project before I left the store. The staff makes you feel right at home. I plan on doing all my shopping here!

I think the two negative reviewers must have been in a different store. I have shopped at the eye of the needle for years for both knitting and needlepoint supplies, and always find the staff to be knowledgeable and helpful. We are lucky to have a store like this in our area.

I have been to many knitting and needlepoint shops as I travel and have found this one to be one of the best. It carries merchandise from the low end to high end, something for everyone. The products are quality products and this is what I look for when I am shopping. Everyone has been helpful when I have come to town and even when I have problems with a project they help me. I totally disagree with the last two comments. I couldn't have been more welcomed at this shop. The ladies were so friendly and helpful. I drove down from Tampa for the day and I had a blast at the srore I ended up stay for a couple of hours laughing and chatting with the owner, her daughter and two other employees. I would recommend this store to everyone, and I have! Can't wait to visit again!
