On Saturday, June 28, 2005 I had came to the new supermarket to buy some groceries. I have bought some breakfast sausage for work tomorrow morning and I just noticed that the sausage expired since 25 June 2005.. how are the stoves being stocked if no one is paying attention to the expiration date?
I went to the new Extra Supermarket grand opening hoping for a better experience — but I got nothing but disappointment. After an unpleasant incident there, I decided to give the older location (up Central, near Snipes) a try. Big mistake. The produce section was absolutely disgusting. Bananas were splitting open on the shelves, and the rest of the fruit looked like it had been sitting there for days.
