My mother was moved here from another facility and so far we are very disappointed. Sunset is far more crowded and noisy; at the other facility the staff were super friendly and always greeted us with a smile, but here you hardly get acknowledged unless you say something to them first; they are very slow to respond to calls from residents (one lady was hollering "help!" for several minutes before anyone came to see what was wrong); the facility is very dated and depressing; some rooms are larger but many are very small, and ... read more
When entering the carehome you have to walk through a wall of cigarette smoke as people smoke right at the door going into the building.The littering of cigarette butts all over the side walk is disgusting.On many occasions when entering the building the smell of cigarette smoke and the smell of cannabis smoke is revolting.There seems to be a complete lack of respect for other people and a lack of enforcement of the smoking regulations at this facility and it needs to be addressed.
