Management is toxic.
Extremely toxic. Management actively makes life miserable for residents and staff.
My dad has been a resident of Fort Macleod Extendicare for 4 years and I visit him at least twice a week, different times of the day and this is what I’ve learned over these 4 years. The housekeeping staff work hard to keep this home very clean and odour free. The recreational staff have different activities throughout the day for residents to participate in. I notice some very negative reviews on here and realize they are from 5-6 years ago. Extendicare Fort MacLeod has had a change of leadership and many staff since then - so if you are looking for help as to whether or not, to place a loved one here - I would urge you to look at recent reviews. Because of my Husband’s need for dialysis, he had little choice of placement and could not be moved to his home town. This turned out to be a blessing for us!
