This past Sunday, myself and my neighbor, did 2 shore dives with Gustof. 1st dive at Airport beach which was a expansive reef, 2nd at Mala pier that had lots of sea life, turtles galore, white tipped shark, lots of different species of fish schooling around you. Gustof is very thorough in safety and description of the dives. Can't go wrong with Extended Horizons.
I only experienced Extended Horizons as the lone companion of Michael, but the three shore dives I made today were fantastic. It being humpback whale season made those dives even more special as we were serenaded by a cacophony of whale song, at times so loud it seemed they were on top of us. All in all a great three dives with an excellent and knowledgeable diver. Highly recommend trying them out if you're looking for some memorable shore dives in Maui.
I had an amazing two-tank dive with Extended Horizons, guided by Michael S. He was incredibly knowledgeable, personable, and clearly knows the island and its dive sites extremely well.
