I had my table made by Expressions in Wood back in 2009. It was time for a new look but the table was built so well that we decided to just have it restrained to match our new chairs. It turned out incredible!! It is as if we bought a brand new table, a completely different look. Tyler smoothed out the top and matched the colour perfect. Brian and Tyler are very easy to work with. Eight years ago when we purchased our new home we used a prominent kitchen designer to prepare a large island maple countertop asking them to stain the wood with a light finish so that the natural grain of the wood showed through. After many months waiting and 3 attempts, which all failed, the designer finally delivered the top with a dark opaque brown stain which we had no choice but to reluctantly accept.
