We paid for furniture and never received it; and also never got a refund. Owners consistently gave misinformation, stalled and eventually stopped communicating with us even after promising us a refund or the furniture.
I am in a similar situation to others on here. We bought a sofa 6 months ago and the fabric has pilled so badly it requires replacement. The sofa has been hardly used and suggested there is a fault in the fabric. After contacting the store to seek a resolution, I have been ignored and their phone is switched off. It seems I will have no other choice but to take my issue to VCAT if they do not follow up.
Terrible customer service! We purchased our dining table on the 22nd of May, with the hopes of picking it up the week after. However, due to lockdown restrictions, we were unable to pick it up. After the easing of restrictions, we tried to contact the store multiple times over the past 3-4 weeks but they have been completely unresponsive, ignoring our texts and cancelling our calls, their phone is now off. Worst communication from a store ever, been over 12 weeks since we ordered, was supposed to be 2/3 weeks. Ducked all the calls, didnt reply to any messages or emails. When we came to the store 3 weeks ago he said it was on next weekends truck and when it wasnt, we went back to the store and its now closed indefinitely, and the phone has been switched off. Very poor.
