This was a one of a kind tour. A swamp walk with Scott Randolph was a great experience. Step right up and then into the swamp, surrounded by water, cypress trees, flowers, plants, song birds, raptors and water birds of all kinds. The water is clear, clean and cool, much of the walk was up to our knees, then in a few places it was over our waist. Absolutely amazing ♡♡♡ We went straight into the Gallery, walked the Boardwalk, then around the outside back to the parking lot. No alligators in sight anywhere. Totally disappointed. THEN as we were walking to the car, we spotted this guy RIGHT NEXT TO THE PARKING LOT!!! lol It DEFINITELY pays to be OBSERVANT & not hurry so much. We could have easily walked by him without even noticing. Thankfully, we eventually slowed down & just admired the view. Boom. There he was. Spent a 3 day weekend in the larger of two on site accommodations. It was magical to see the Everglades up close. Highly recommend
