As I return home from an amazing half day of MATH field work with the 6th grade, I'm moved to write this. The kids are learning about ratios and unit price. In the spirit of Expeditionary learning, their most amazing math teacher loaded them on a bus and took them to the grocery store. Each group collected data on specific non-refrigerated produce itsms. I had two sons that attended RMSEL. They both started in 6th grade and I cannot say enough about the support and education they received. My oldest came with a little "baggage." Teachers and staff helped him and supported him and now he is in a much better place academically, socially and personally. I attribute much of this to the attention and genuine concern he was given. My two daughters attended RMSEL from kindergarten through 6th & 8th grade, respectively. RMSEL instilled in them a love of learning, reading, and exploring. I loved how the curriculum integrated all disciplines in which art, music, technology & crew trips all supported their exploration of topics. The administration, teachers, students, and parents worked together to build a true community that we sincerely appreciated. My kids gained a solid foundation in their education that will serve them throughout their lives.

Worst school ever. My child was so unhappy there that his learning went backwards. He is so much happier at his new school. I'm so glad we left this school!
